The ANU College of Physical & Mathematical Sciences (CPMS) comprises the Research Schools of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics & Engineering, and the Mathematical Sciences Institute.

Our focus is on outstanding science research and teaching. Class sizes are smaller than in other leading Australian universities and the quality of teaching is further enhanced by the strong synergies with our world-class research program. Most of our teaching staff are involved in research, and are committed to assisting you learn science through discovery.
