Mathematical Sciences

Mathematics can be seen as a language in which the logic and rational decision making processes that underpin all of science can be most eloquently written. We study many aspects of theoretical mathematics and the application of contemporary mathematics to most branches of science. These include areas traditionally associated with maths, such as physics and astronomy, but increasingly mathematical studies are crossing boundaries into biological and medical sciences, economics, finance, environmental science, sociology and psychology.
